I went to the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince premiere at midnight, downtown in Seattle. I just wanted to write a quick note about the film. It was surprisingly hilarious, especially for those of us who still read the written versions of these films. The humor was very well balanced, considering the sobering events that occur towards the ending of the movie. Watching Harry, Ron, and Hermione in their sixth year at Hogwarts felt, bizarrely enough, like seeing very old friends after a very long absence; very fulfilling.
